Gerald Wayne Mullikin, 39, resident of Afton, Oklahoma, died Tuesday afternoon at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday in the Living Word Family Church in Nowata with Pastor Jim Winslow officiating.  Cremation arrangements were by the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.

A memorial for his children’s college education has been established and friends may make a donation in his memory c/o the Regents Bank, P.O. Box 432, Nowata, Oklahoma 78048

Gerald Wayne Mullikin was born on February 16, 1971 at Nowata the son of Jerry Dale and Bonnie June (Troglin) Mullikin.  He was raised and educated in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School where he was on both the football and baseball teams. After he graduated from high school he attended the Tri County Tech and was educated in Heat and Air.  He was married to Tonda Reeves on June 6, 1992 and later married Tracy White on December 31, 1999 at Bartlesville.  He owned and operated the Ace’s Heating and Air Conditioning in the Grand Lake Area.  He attended the Trinity Baptist Church in Afton.  He was a member of the Cherokee Nation.

Gerald Wayne Mullikin is survived by his wife, Tracy, of the home; one son Dallas Lane Mullikin of the home; two daughters, Lauren Mullikin of Dewey and Savanna Mullikin of the home; his parents, Jerry and Bonnie Mullikin of Nowata; one brother, Jeffrey Mullikin and his wife Brandy of Nowata; and one sister Stephanie Reece and her husband Corbett of Nowata; three nieces and nephews, Haylee Mullikin, Jett Mullikin and Harper Reece
