LOIS MARIE

(BRODRICJ) WYRICK

FAIRLAND - Lois Marie (Brodrick) Wyrick, 73, of Fairland, OK went home to be with Jesus Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her residence. She fought a very courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born December 31, 1935 in Wyandotte, OK to Chester Henry and Dorothy May (Jones) Brodrick.

A 1955 graduate of Wyandotte High School, she worked at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK before marrying Hiriam Wiley Wyrick on June 6, 1956 in Wyandotte, OK. They relocated to Fairland, OK in 1972. She was a homemaker, and a faithful member of the Fairland Assembly of God Church for over 35 years.

Lois enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens, fishing and volunteering at her church. She loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hiriam, brothers, Frank and Allan (Bill), and Robert Brodrick, and sister Alta Chafin.

Survivors include sons, Charley and Pam Wyrick of Fairland, OK, Davis and Sheila Wyrick of Miami, OK, one daughter Debbie Goins and Jon Sawyer of Council Grove, KS, grandchildren, Justin Goins and Laura Crippen, Michael and Wendy Wyrick, Randy and crystal Wyrick, Ashley and Jeremiah Robinson, Miranda and Brad Jones, Aimee Wyrick and Chelsea Goins, mine great-grandchildren, brothers Chester and Patsy Brodrick, Clarence and Pam Broderick, Edward and Linda Brodrick, twin sister Louise Easley and sisters Ella Mae and Joe Simpson, Kathryn and Jack Crafton, Doretha and Michael Cook and Dorothy and Jim Crafton, sister-in-laws Mariellen Brodrick, Treva Brodrick and Debbie Brodrick, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Fairland Assembly of God Church with David Wyrick officiating.

A visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at the church.

Burial followed at the Fairland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairland Assembly of God Church, in care of the funeral home.
