GROVE - The 8th Annual ROK the Runway event is happening on Tuesday, February 25 at COS.

The fashion show is hosted by Kathrine Mathis of Photography by Katherine and features senior students from Grove High School modeling clothing from the Muddy Pearl and raising money for COW Week at the high school. The show is being held at COS, located at 1600 W. 13th St. in Grove. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30 p.m.

VIP front row seating is $25 and must be reserved in advance. Admission to the show is $10 for adults and free for students.

About the Beneficiaries

The 2020 C.O.W. Week primary beneficiary is the Grand Lake Community Foundation, who plans to purchase a fire and tornado safety trailer and donate it to the Grove Fire Department to educate students in Northeast Oklahoma about safety. The secondary beneficiary is Community Crisis Center which provides services to survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking in Ottawa, Delaware and Craig Counties.

C.O.W. is an acronym for Changing Our World. C.O.W. Week is a philanthropy project designed to support a local charity hosted by Grove High School Student Council. Each year C.O.W. Weeks selects a local charity to be the recipient of the funds raised. The mission of C.O.W. Week is to unify the community through the promotion of a local charity and bringing awareness of it's deserving cause to Grove Public School students.
