The Grove Junior High wrestlers competed at the Will Rogers Jr. High Conference on Friday and Saturday, January 31 and February 1, at the Vinita High School.
Grove finished the tournament as the 2020 Will Rogers Jr. High Conference Champion for the third year in a row. They finished with a total 322.5 team points. The team's closet competition was Blackwell at 235.5 points, which was 87 points away.
A total of 17 teams competed at the tournament. In 2019, Grove won Conference by 71 points. In 2018, the Ridgerunners won by 18 points. It proves that Grove has wrestling talent still coming up from the Grove Takedown Club, their youth wrestling program, and also raw talent thats being developed by Head Wrestling Coach John Henry Ward and his coaching staff. Grove's wrestling future continues to look bright.

Grove's next competition will be the State Junior High Wrestling Championships in Oklahoma City on Friday and Saturday, February 7-8. The team will take the top four placers from Conference to complete.
