Lloyd (Hoppy) Earl Blevins, 69, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Jay, Oklahoma. He was born on May 8, 1950 at home in Delaware County, Oklahoma to his parents, William Earl Blevins and Ola Olive Edwards-Blevins. Hoppy attended school in Jay Oklahoma and worked as a Logger all his life in Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. Hoppy loved being outdoors fishing or hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Hoppy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ola Blevins; wife, Sally Marie Clark-Blevins; four siblings, Norman Blevins, Coleman Blevins, Utah Blevins and Silas Blevins. Hoppy is survived by his five sons, Tim Blevins and wife Danna of Winfield, Kansas, Tom Blevins and wife Rhonda of Winfield, Kansas, Roger Blevins and wife Angel of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Bobby Blevins of Jay, Oklahoma and Hoppy Gene Blevins and wife Tina of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; step-daughter, Patricia McGuirk of Vinita, Oklahoma; three siblings, Quentin Blevins of Jay, Oklahoma, Clarence Blevins of Southwest City, Missouri and Joann Browning of Jay, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Hoppy’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 1 p.m., November 2, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346.
