Grove High School is gearing up for the third annual C.O.W. Week.
C.O.W. Week is a week long philanthropic event that shows support for a local charity and is hosted by Grove High School's Student Council. The objective of C.O.W. Week is to "sponsor a local charts and recognize them" and to "unify the community through the promotion of a local charity while bringing awareness of a deserving cause to high school students".
The 2019 recipient was the Delaware County Children's Special Advocacy Center (DCCSAN). GHS and the Student Council were able to raise $32,150 for DCCSAN. Started in 2017, C.O.W. Week has raised more than $65,000 for local charities.
The 2020 event will be held Monday through Thursday, March 9-12. Monday night will feature an opening ceremony and Thursday will have a closing ceremony. There will also be fundraising events throughout the week.
