In a 4A District 3 battle, the fourth ranked Wagoner Bulldogs made a statement with a 49-10 win over the Grove Ridgerunners. Wagoner was 3-1 going into the game, only falling by a single point to Pryor, while Grove was 2-2 going into the game.

The game began on a bit of a wild note, Grove kicked off, Wagoner fumbled the ball and the Ridgerunners recovered. However, from that moment on, the first quarter was a stalemate. With just under three minutes left, Grove began marching down the field. The Ridgerunners would be held to a field goal from Nick Allsup, but would get on the board first.

Bulldog quarterback Sawyer Jones was the first to score, taking the ball 33 yards to score. On the next possession, Jones would score again, rushing 15 yards. Wagoner now led 14-3.

Grove recovered a second fumble, but would again be unable to convert.

Wagoner's Jones connected with Chase Nanni for a 53 yard touchdown, making the score 21-3.

The Ridgerunners Greg McCurdy threw into traffic and was picked off. The Bulldogs would score once more, beating Grove on a goal line stand. Jones got the yard and the touchdown and the half ended on a score of 28-3.

Grove's defense was able to keep Wagoner from the end zone for almost half of the third quarter, but the Bulldog's Braden Drake rushed 16 yards to push the lead to 35-3. Wagoner would score again in the third, ending the quarter 42-3.

In the final quarter, the Bulldogs scored at the 7:24 mark. Jones rushed for another 15 yard touchdown, the final Wagoner points.

Finally Grove was back on offense. After a false start, Carson Timble handed the ball off to Emmanuel Crawford, who rushed 80 yards to score Grove's only touchdown of the night. Grove's touchdown came just 24 seconds after Wagoner's. The game ended with a score of 49-10.

Grove had 43 passing yards and 151 rushing yards for a total of 194 yards on the night. Wagoner had 150 passing yards and 288 rushing yards for an impressive 438 total yards.

The Ridgerunners were called for four penalties, losing 30 yards, while the Bulldogs were called for three, losing 25 yards.

Crawford led the rushing yards, with three carries for 95 yards and a touchdown. Kadian Forbis had 27 carries for 66 yards, McCurdy had three carries for one yard, Trace Arnold had two carries for no yards and Trimble had three carries for -12 yards.

Buchholz led the passing yards, having one catch for 14 yards. Forbis had two catches for seven yards, Matt Bush had one catch for 12 yards and Hank Hacker had one catch for 10 yards.
