The Friday, October 4th meeting of the Grand Lake 'O the Cherokees Quilt Guild will have you seeing stars.

The program, which will be presented by Pat Ackerson and Sandy Blakeley, is somewhat of a surprise. The hostesses ask that attendees bring something you have made that has a star on it. It could be a quilt, wall hanging, pillow, etc. Attendees are also asked to bring a pair of scissors that can cut paper, not fabric. The hostesses assure us we will not harm our projects, but what are we going to do? Join us at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 4 at the Grove Community Center, Room 6 and find out what the surprise is!

The Grand Lake 'O the Cherokees Quilt Guild meets the first Friday of every month at 10 a.m. at the Grove Community Center, located at 104 W 3rd Street in Grove. Visitors are always welcome and membership encouraged. For further information on the guild go to www.glocquiltguild.org or on Facebook.
