Donna Sue Black, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in Grove, OK. She was born on July 31, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to her parents, George Howard Williams and Lucille Love McQuerry-Williams.

Donna loved fishing, cooking, listening to her emergency scanner, and playing her Red Ruby Slot Machines. She was known for her Dressing at Thanksgiving. Donna worked at the Friendship Home as their HTS for 11 years, also known today as Home of Hope. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille Williams; son, Steve Black; grandson, Matthew Tramel; brothers, Charles Williams and Larry Williams.

She is survived by her children, Pete Black and wife Stephanie of Jay, OK, Cindy and husband Jim Metcalf of Keller, TX; grandchildren, Amanda and Aaron Metcalf of Keller, TX, Kristin Black of Jay, Michael Tomcykowski of Denver; great-grandson, Liam Black of Jay, OK; sisters, Marianita Lafayette of Eucha, OK, Georgia Rutherford of Jay, OK; brothers, Norman Williams of Jay, OK, Thomas Williams of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Donna’s Children, Pete and Cindy scattered her ashes along with Steve’s ashes on pike’s peak on 8/31/2019. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK 74344 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
