Grove's 7 & under baseball team, the Grove Fury has wrapped another tournament, placing third overall.

The Fury played in USSSA's Global World Series in Bixby, Oklahoma on Saturday through Monday, July 13-16. After six games, the team held a 2-4 record and were outscored 80-72.

The team played two games on Saturday, July 13. The first game pitted the Fury against the Hexcam Vipers. The Vipers won the game by a single point, 18-17. In the second game, Grove took on Prime Baseball. Prime won the game 15-7.

On Sunday, July 14, the Fury faced Perfect Timing Beasley and earned their first win of the tournament. Grove won 16-14.

Monday, July 15, the Fury played two more games, against the Vinita Mad Dawgs and a second game against the Hexcam Vipers. Grove won against Vinita 18-6, but lost to the Vipers 16-14.

The last game of the tournament was on Tuesday, July 16. The Fury played Hype Baseball, falling 11-10 to the Locust Grove team. Hype Baseball would go on to beat the Hexcam Vipers twice to win the title of champion.

Fisher Hill of the Grove Fury was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
