A full day of classes for students in Grades Pre-K through 12 in the Kansas School District will begin Thursday, August 15, 2019. Buses will make their regular routes arriving at school at 8 a.m.

Elementary, Middle School and High School students who were not attending Kansas School at the end of the last school year should pre-enroll August 5 - 7, 2019 between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon. Birth certificate, immunization records, social security card will be required at the time of enrollment. Also a CDIB card if available.

All students entering 7th AND 8th grade MUST provide documentation of having received 3 doses of Hepatitis B, 2 doses of Hepatitis A vaccine AND 1 T-dap booster.

Students interested in the Proficiency Based Test may take the test on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. but must pre-register by Thursday, August 1, 2019.

In order to enroll in Pre-K, a student MUST be 4 years old by September 1, 2019. In order to enroll in Kindergarten, a student MUST be 5 years old by September 1, 2019. Parents are required to furnish an official birth certificate, immunization record, social security card and CDIB card (if available). Those immunizations required for Pre-K are: 4 DTP, 3 Polio, 1 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Hepatitis A, and 1 Varicella. Those immunizations required for Kindergarten are: 5 DTP, 4 polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Hepatitis A, and 1 Varicella.


Kansas is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
