One of FEMA's Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) will be opening Friday, July 12th, in Jay at the County Library.

The hours for the MDRC are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, July 15. The center will be closed on Sunday.

The MDRC will offer personal support to homeowners, business owners and renters who experienced damage or loss during the severe storms and straight-line wind, tornadoes and flooding on May 7 and June 9 2019.

If you have already registered, the process will be speedier. If you have received a determination letter, bring that to the MRDC for explanations

There will be specialists from FEMA, SBA, and OEM to answer questions, discuss assistance available, next steps, and to help anyone who needs guidance in filing out an application.

The deadline to register with FEMA is July 21, 2019.
