Joe Earl White, 82, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on June 2, 1936 in Nowata, Oklahoma to his parents, Audley White and Delma Hendrix-White. He was a Graduate of Nowata High School, The Class of 1954. He joined the United States Air Force and after his tour of duty Joe relocated to the Eugene, Oregon area where he met and married his bride of 53 years, Nona Bolling White. Eventually Joe and Nona moved back to his home state of Oklahoma, ultimately living in the Grand Lake Area where he started White’s Heating & Air. Over the years Joe and his wife have owned and operated several businesses they have had. His passions were playing music, singing karaoke, fishing and “piddlin”. He was known for his Joeisms and marching to his own beat.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Audley and Delma White; his siblings, Don and Betty; grandson, Chase Pramberg. He is survived by his wife, Nona White of Eucha, Oklahoma; daughter, Kris Shrum and husband Cliff of Jay, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Mckenzie Pramberg; extended family Bob and Cora Dobson, Paula Earp, The Arnolds and many friends.

Joe’s Celebration Of Life Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 11 a.m., April 15, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Jay, Oklahoma. Service will conclude in the Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
