The Lady Comets made an impressive 100% of their free throw attempts in the game.

Then the guys took the floor.

The Wildcats went home tamed by the Comets as Kansas won 60 to 36.

In the first period Chouteau was able to stay within seven points of Kansas, but the second period saw the Comets add distance as the half stood Comets 38, Wildcats 20.

During the third period the Comets continued their march away by adding more to their point differential, closing the period with a 24 point lead, which they would maintain until the end of the game.

Seth Evans #32 was the high scorer for Kansas with 22 points; Keelan Davis # 10 put up 11 points; Blaine Pickup #20 had six points; Kaiden Osbourn #24, Trent Fields #11 and Easton Wiggins #12 each had five.

Coach Cory Steele is always pleased with how the team plays and this game made him proud in the way the guys came out and played.

Their next game is away against Keys, preceding their first District game with Salina.
