Glen David Bowen, of Bernice, formerly of Miami passed away at his home on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of sixty-nine. Mr. Bowen was born on September 29, 1949 in Vinita, Oklahoma to C.L. Sr. and Bernice (Fraelick) Bowen. Glen graduated from Vinita High School and soon joined the United States Navy. He served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a lineman for REC and then for the City of Miami. Glen won lots of trophies from his pool playing ability; he was also an artist that enjoyed woodwork and engraving. He also knew another art that helped him while picking and garage saling and that's the art of wheeling and dealing. Mr. Bowen's parents C.L. and Bernice preceded him in passing along with his sister Linda Stephenson and a brother Donnie Bowen.

Survivors include his brother Charles L. Bowen Jr. and his niece and nephews; Christopher Bowen and his wife Brandy of Miami, David Bowen of Hooker, Okla. and Susie Hutton of Tulsa, his great nieces and nephews Anna Bowen, Emma Bowen, CJ Bowen, Davie Bowen, Jesse Bowen, Greg Bowen, Christian Woods and his wife Kim and Joseph Hutton and a great-great niece Madison Woods.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland with Reverend Shannon Rodenberg officiating.
