The Grove City council will vote this week to amend the city’s medical marijuana ordinance as it relates to Medical Marijuana establishments.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Grove Community Center, Room 5.

City leaders passed an ordinance earlier this year, but City Attorney Darren Cook said the new issue could prompt amending the ordinance.

In other business the council will vote whether to accept:

The 2017-18 Fiscal Year Audit. A Grove Area Chamber of Commerce proposal to Provide Tourism Marketing Services. Bids for the Lease-Purchase Financing of three new police patrol vehicles and asphalt materials. Approval of a Resolution giving "Notice of Election" to the County Election Board. Appointment of a council member to serve on the Proposals for the Comprehensive Plan Update review committee. Scheduling a special meeting for a joint work session with GEDA in connection to the Economic Development Strategic Plan.
