Nineteen guns, including 12 long arms and seven hand guns, worth $30K were taken on Sunday, Dec. 2, from On Target Guns, Bows and Range, in Grove.
According to Detective Mark Sheridan with the Grove Police Department, the incident took place at approximately 10:30 p.m., on Sunday evening.
Sheridan said three individuals, wearing hoodies, gloves and masks used a rock to break in the bottom glass of the entry door.
Sheridan said surveillance video indicates the individuals were in and out of the business in less than a minute or two.
Rob Chubb, owner of On Target, said he believes the three individuals "knew what they were doing" based upon their actions.
"They came in as a customer before because they knew where to go and what to grab," Chubb said. "Two of the guns were all the way hidden in the corner.
"They knew where to go and what to grab."
Chubb said the individuals brought their own rock - the size of a basketball - to use it to break the glass and door frame.
Chubb hopes that people will recognize the individual's vehicle - a new Honda Civic with rear spoiler, sunroof and rally wheels - and contact the Grove Police Department with information to lead to their arrest.
Chubb believes the incident may have been connected to a vehicle/trailer fire which took place at approximately the same time on the east side of Grove.
Sheridan said he is investigating both incidents to determine if they are connected, with the fire used as a diversion from the robbery.
Persons with information concerning the robbery, or the fire, or know the location of the stolen guns, are asked to contact Sheridan at 918-786-6121.
