The Delaware County Commissioners approved on Monday, Sept. 17 to accept a $1,500 bid for a 1996 Chevrolet T Ton flatbed with dump.
The bid was awarded to Stoney Kirby.
Bid proposals for two other agenda items were not needed due to insufficient documentation, said Barbara Barnes, court clerk.
In financial business, the commissioners approved paying to August invoices for $1,550 to the Craig County Detention Center and $1,593 to the Craig County Sheriff’s office for housing inmates.
The commissioners also approved transferring $20,000 from the Lakemont Shores Fire Department capital outlay account to its maintenance and operations account.
Also approved was a $50,000 Colcord Schools grant application that will be submitted to Grand Gateway for a REAP grant.
The commissioners also approved sending a foreclosure document, Flint Ridge Property Owners Association vs. Aaron Wood, to the district attorney’s office.
The next meeting is 9 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24 at the Delaware County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Public Meeting room.
