Walter (Wally) Leighton Beaupre, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 8, 2018 at his residence in Grove, Okla. He was born on July 25, 1939 in Kankakee, Ill. to his parents, Paul Beaupre and Joanne Knight Beaupre. Wally graduated from Amphitheater High School, Tucson, Ariz., The Class of 1958. After graduation he joined the United States Navy. Wally was known as a Jack of all trades with a 100% perfection of job well done from working as a Welder, Petroleum Truck Driver, Mechanic and in Construction. He was an avid scuba diver, deep sea fisherman, golfer, bowler, fisherman, hunter, racing race cars and a gamer that loved to play, The Luxor 5th Passage. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all sharing his love to his family fur babies, Pebbles, Tigger and Precious.
Wally is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Joanne Beaupre; step-son, Clinton Beamer; granddaughter, Samantha DeLaMatter and brother, Edward (Ed) Beaupre. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Cherie Beaupre of Grove, Okla.; son, Mark Beaupre and wife Rima of Los Gatos, Calif.; daughter, Susan Neal of Tuscon, Ariz.; four step-children, DeWayne Beamer and wife Linda of Tazewill, Tenn., Susan Mattox and husband Coley of Cynthina, Ky., Trish Nix and husband Bobby of Tolleson, Ariz. and Lois Blair and husband Robby of Fairland, Okla.; his fur babies, Pebbles, Tigger and Precious; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; niece, Marcie; nephew, Randy; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Wally’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, 10 a.m., August 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 407 W. Conner Ave., Fairland, OK 74343 with Pastor Andy Krebs Officiating and United States Navy Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK 74344 with Shaunda J. Lawson, Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
