The Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors Scholarship Program was established in 2018.

The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to high school senior’s that are enrolling in business study in community colleges, technical schools and universities.

Scholarships will be awarded to students who attend high school in the NEOBR service area. The NEOBR Scholarship principally targets high school seniors.

Financial Assistance is based on academic performance, leadership potential, and participation in business programs including but not limited to service, work & volunteer hours.

The Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors awards scholarships through a comprehensive process.

Areas that are reviewed by the committee include but are not limited to the following: Academic Accomplishments, Community Service, and References. The Board pays scholarship funds directly to the recipient’s school of choice.

The NEOBR Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Scholarships awarded are based upon the availability of funds and additional qualifying criteria. Awards are up to $1,000.

Applicant must be completing high school successfully with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicant must be accepted as a full-time student (12 hours +) at a college or university for the upcoming academic semester by the time Scholarship Funds are distributed or scholarship is waived.

Applicant must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.

Scholarship will be awarded to Public, Private or Home School student who graduate in the NEOBR area.

Candidates may be asked for an interview by the Scholarship Committee conducted in early April. Applicants are notified if awarded a scholarship by April 15, 2018.

Awards will be distributed by August 1, of the current year after all requirements are met.

Applicant must provide their student ID, the correct mailing address of their institution and the department where their scholarship check is to be used.
