Anna Isabel McKinley, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
Anna was born on Jan. 14, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Sarah Ann (Maes) Ware.
She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Claflin Kansas, and graduated from Claflin High School.
She was united in marriage to Roy E. McKinley on Nov. 9, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas. Anna worked as a nursing assistant for St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Anna was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Alter Society.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Roy; her son John F. McKinley; and four sisters: Catherine Milder, Eleanor Ware, Marguerite Wolford and Mary Rose Record.
She is survived by her five children: Roy L. McKinley of Independence, Missouri, Anna M. Howe of Grove, Michael G. McKinley of Denver, Colorado, Carolyn S. Howard of Portland, Oregon, and David H. McKinley also of Portland, Oregon.
Anna was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass took place on Saturday, March 17, at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church; with burial following at Olympus North Cemetery, Grove, under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
