Members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Department and Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations are looking into a possible weekend homicide.

According to Jessica Brown, spokesman for OSBI, a woman's body was found outside a trailer house in the Kingpoint Mobile Home Park, located north of Grove off East 254 Road.

Brown said a neighbor discovered the woman's body at approximately 7 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 11,

The woman, who has not been positively identified, showed some signs of injuries, Brown said, leading investigators to consider homicide in her death.

Brown said the woman's body was taken to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's office in Tulsa, for positive identification and to determine the manner and cause of death.

It is unknown at this time if the woman, who's approximate age or ethnicity was also not released, was a resident of the mobile home park.

Delaware County Sheriff Harlan Moore indicated he called in OSBI investigators for assistance. He referred all other questions back to Brown.

Brown said at least three agents are assisting the sheriff's office with the investigation.
