Joyce Lee Dickinson, 85, former Cushing resident, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 in the INTEGRIS Hospice House in Oklahoma City.
The daughter of the late Olen Fricker and Reba Moore Fricker, Joyce was born on March 11, 1932 in Cushing.
She was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the Class of 1950.
Joyce was united in marriage to Jerry Dickinson on Sept. 6, 1952 in Cushing; to this union two children: Mike and Robyn, were born. Jerry preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2000.
Joyce was a member of the Cushing Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, being involved with her church and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children: Mike Dickinson and his wife, Cathy, of Grove and Robyn Little and her husband, Nolan, of Yukon; grandchildren: Grady Dickinson and wife, Katherine, Michelle Bolles and husband, Kevin, Mike Little and wife, Jade, Jamey Little and wife, Amber and Carly Doll and husband, Shayne; great-grandchildren: Meagan DeShane and husband, Brian, Addison Bolles, Jordyn Bolles, Zachary Bolles, Jacob Little and wife, Kirsten, Joshua Little, Justin Little, Addison Little, Amelia Little, Avery Little, Blayne Doll and Peyton Doll; great-great-grandchildren: Harper Grace Little, Jackson Little, Jameson DeShane and Blakely DeShane; brother: Wendell Fleshman of Angleton, Texas and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Fleshman.
Services took place on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Davis Memorial Chapel, Cushing, with Pastor Nathan Covington officiating. Burial followed at Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.
