Pastor Andrew Brunson is an American pastor who has served in the nation of Turkey for decades. Andrew has loved the Turkish people and lived a law-abiding life.

One day, out of the blue, the Turkish government arrested Pastor Andrew and charged him with being a threat to Turkey’s national security.

The charges were never explained, and Pastor Andrew’s lawyer has never been given a copy of the evidence that shows Andrew is a security threat. Time marches on to the tune of more than 450 days in the Turkish prison. When will it end?

A US government worker recently was allowed to enter the prison and meet with Pastor Andrew. She told us several frightening observations.

Pastor Andrew no longer looks like his photo on Facebook. He has lost over fifty pounds of body weight on his starvation diet the Turks feed him. He appears to have aged considerably, and his mental state is dull. His focus of attention is on-off frequently.

Pastor Andrew’s biggest fear is being forgotten. Andrews wife is allowed to see him briefly once a week, and it must be a traumatic experience for her.

Andrew has appealed to President Trump to not forget him, and we can assume there are talks going on behind the scenes between the two governments.

All of these events unfolding are deeply disturbing considering Turkey is a NATO Ally of the United States.

Let us never forget Pastor Andrew, and let us pray for him and his family every day until he is safely back home in America. God bless all you prayer warriors!
