After tying the game at 30 early in the fourth quarter, the Kansas Lady Comets could only muster one more basket over the final 6:35, falling to the Fort Gibson Lady Tigers 40-32 in the semifinals of the Tournament of Champions at the Mabee Center in Tulsa Thursday.

The Lady Comets (7-1) will face Jenks in the third place game at 4 p.m. today. The Lady Tigers (9-0), the defending state champions in Class 4A, won their 36th game in a row, a streak dating back to last year's undefeated season. Fort Gibson will face East Central in tonight's championship game.

Kelsey Barnwell and Courtney Cowan led Kansas with seven points apiece. Fort Gibson's Savannah Gray had a game-high 13.
