Hello Grand Lakers!

Fishing on Grand has been really great this past week. The white bass continue to bite really well in the shallows. It is not uncommon to catch a limit in two hours and most of them are in the two to three pound class. Occasionally, you will get a really large white bass as well. They seem to prefer the grubs, especially on windy banks.

The crappie have started biting good too. They have moved to the docks and predictable deep structure. Jigs and grubs are the baits of choice. Deep clear water will usually produce the best fishing. Getting a limit is more difficult than a limit of white bass.

Speaking of limits of crappie, some Grand Lakers have been with us at Lake Fork, Texas this past week. Daily limits were easy and the crappie have great size, up to 2.5 pounds.

Have a great week and a very enjoyable Thanksgiving.
