Area teams in Classes 2A through 4A found out their postseason assignments yesterday, as the OSSAA released the postseason pairings for those classes.
The Jay Bulldogs will travel to Locust Grove for their district two matchup, which will be held on Friday, February 17 with the girls game at 6:30 p.m.
Jay will then play their first round regional games at Inola before moving on to Fort Gibson for later rounds.
The Area tournament will be held at the Muskogee Civic Center.
The Kansas teams will have the farthest to travel in their quest for the state tournament. The Comets and Lady Comets will host Heavener for their district matchup, which will also be on Friday, February 17.
Kansas will then travel to Heavener for the first round of regionals before heading to Wiburton for later regional rounds.
Area games will be played at Fort Gibson High School.
Colcord, Wyandotte, Fairland and Ketchum will all play in the same Area in Class 2A. The three squads will play in Area III which will take place in Skiatook.
Colcord will travel to Fairland along with Chouteau for their district tournament. The first round of regional play for those teams that advance will take place at Chouteau before moving on to Claremore for later regional rounds.
Wyandotte will play at Oklahoma Union in their district tournament with Commerce also there. All regional games for those teams will be at Claremore.
