ARE YOU FRUSTRATED BY YOUR GAME?
If so, please read this…GRAND LAKE GOLF SCHOOL is now the official “Fitter” for www.fitchip.com in this area. This is a new fitting system in which we can measure instantaneously if you have the right frequency shafts in your clubs. The inventor and developer proved to me that 60% of all golfers are playing with the wrong shaft frequency. Simplified, this just means you either get the club face square back to the ball naturally or by force. Go to www.fitchip.com. Naturally is of course best. We offer a fitting and swing lesson for $50; If you replace and order your shafts at $45 each including grip, we credit the $50 to your purchase. Or, ask us about our demo plan. Call Steve at 918-257-4967.
GOLF TIP of the WEEK
Tempo is one of the first things that we lose when we take time off from our golf game. Tempo is a big cause of “Fat” and “Thin” shots. It is a case of not trusting the most basic fundamentals. Concentrate on these three things during your practice sessions: (1) Lead Arm straight during the backswing and return to ball; (2) Keep you head from moving very much, if at all; and (3) As you take your club head back, count some cadence like one, two, three. (1 is when you begin your backswing, two is at the top of your backswing and three is the return to strike the ball.)
“Tempo is the glue that holds your swing together” - Nick Faldo, three-time Masters champion
GOLF JOKE OF THE WEEK
A woman is sitting at the 19th Tee with her husband and she says, “I love you.”
He asks, “Is that you or the wine talking?”
She replies, “It’s me…. talking to the wine.”
