NEO A&M softball ended its fall season of scrimmages with an eight inning loss to the University of Arkansas Lady Razorbacks.  They finished with high hopes for a strong Spring 2011.

“It’s just the fall,” said Head Coach Erick Iverson. “We are continuing to develop and make progress."

“We all played really hard (this fall) and finally figured out how to play as a team.  It’s been a learning experience,” said infielder Alicia Egar.

“And a lot of team bonding” added Freshman Megan Robison.

Sophomore outfielder, Jule Rigsby, when asked how she feels about the team said, “It’s amazing”.

Freshman, Jessica Kelly said she thinks the pitching staff is, "Butt kicking…our pitching is legit,” she said.

The Lady Norsemen begin their Spring season on Feb. 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. against Blinn College in Brenham, Texas.  Their first home game is Feb. 17 at  2 p.m. vs. Labette Community College.  Admission is free and they hope to have a big turn-out.
