The Quapaw Lady Wildcats (4-5) took a road victory Friday in Lucky Seven Conference Plat by downing the Fairland Lady Owls (1-6) 44-22 at Fighting Owl Arena.

A 14-10 Quapaw lead after the first quarter gave way to a 22-12 halftime lead. Lady Wildcat Paige Radford put up six to lead the Quapaw second quarter charge.

The Lady Wildcats put more distance on the board in the third, outscoring Fairland 17-6 in the eight minutes to hold a 39-18 lead going into the fourth.

Radford and Quapaw teammate Kaitlyn Brumley ended the hight as the high scorers with 12 points each. Radford hit a trio of three point shots while Brumley was perfect (2 for 2) from the stripe. Halie Judd rounded out the Lady Wilcat high scorers with seven points.

Emily Shelton was the Lady Owl top scorer with six. Haylee Jones scored four points.

Quapaw faced Oklahoma Union on Tuesday before hosting Bluejacket on Thursday.

The Lady Owls hosted Commerce on Tuesday before traveling to rival Afton on Friday.
