PORUM, Okla. - The Oaks High School basketball teams traveled to the Greenleaf Tournament in Porum coming away with two championship titles.

The Warriors beat host Porum 58-41 while the Lady Warriors beat Hulbert 60-37.

In the boys' game the Warriors doubled up Porum in the 1st quarter 14-7 before the host team did the same in the second 20-10 for a 27-24 lead.

Oaks came back to take a big advantage in the 3rd quarter 19-4 and lead 43-31 going into the 4th.

The Warriors continued their control in the final period taking a 15-10 advantage and the win.

Thompson led the Warrior with 28 points followed by Arnold with 14, Baver 9, Strikler 5 and Webster 2.

Against Hulbert the Lady Warriors took a 14-7 lead after the 1st quarter and led 28-24 at half time after the Lady Riders outscored Oaks 17-14 in the 2nd.

Oaks then took control winning the scoring battle in the 3rd 15-2 and 16-11 in the 4th for the win.

The Lady Warriors had four players in double figures with Nichols leading the way with 15 followed by Cummings and Foreman while Sinor had 10.

Watkins added eight, Shacker four and Horton one.
