He was a father; he was a friend; he was a hard worker and dedicated member of the 33rd who looked forward to events that made children smile and laugh. He was a fighter and he fought a quick hard battle but never lost…just conceded for a better life where he can watch over us like he always did. He never did for anyone expecting something in return…a smile was all he hoped to see. He was the one man to look up to and the one man who wouldn’t look down on you. He said he would ‘beat this thing’ and he did…he didn’t suffer so he won. He was and will always be the greatest man in the world because he is your friend; your brother; your uncle and my daddy….my very best friend and my world.
