John Lee Linn, resident of Afton, Okla., passed away at his home August 27, 2010. He was 71.

He was a self-employed truck driver. John was born October 22, 1938 in Sand Springs, Okla., to Ross and Meram (Ward) Linn. He married Farrell Davison in 1960 and later divorced then married Barbara Emison in 1963.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara in 2002; and one brother, Lonnie Linn.

Survivors include three sons, Travis Linn, of Seattle, Wash., Ryan and spouse Dixie Linn, of Afton, Okla., and John Randall Linn, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two daughters, Lori Acree, of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Tina and spouse Denny Wooten, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one brother, Ronnie and spouse Cathy Linn, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Wanda and spouse Pete McGowan, of Afton, Okla. and Sue and spouse James Bryant, of Broken Arrow, Okla.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday August 30, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church in Afton, Okla., with Rev. Stan Miller officiating. A visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday August 29, 2010 at the Adcock Funeral Home, Afton, Okla.

Serving as pallbearers were Gale Rider, Bob Hefner, Bobby Hefner, Tom Countryman, Dewey Andrews and Colby Brown.

Burial was held at Sixkiller Cemetery in Afton.
