Miss Anita Sue Hayes left this world behind on September 17, 2010 in Tulsa, Okla. and entered into her eternal home full of love, joy and singing.
Anita was born August 31, 1960 in Afton, Oklahoma to her chosen parents Floyd and Juanita Hayes.
Anita lived most of her life in Fairland, Oklahoma where she was cherished and loved. She enjoyed watching the food channel and wished she could sample everything made. Anita loved going to church. She was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church. Everyone who met Anita knew her heart was pure and loving.
Anita’s dream for most of her life was to be an Executive Producer in Hollywood. Today she is directing the Angels Choir in the largest production ever. Anita is truly blessed.
Although Anita is no longer with us, her memory and legacy will be kept alive through her family and friends she leaves behind for just a season: her two brothers, Jim Hayes of Fairland, Oklahoma and Jack and wife Kathy Hayes of Miami, Oklahoma; two sisters, Ruth Ann and husband Ray Tyler of Grove, Oklahoma and Patsy and husband Darell Clocker of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, longtime neighbors and cherished friends.
Anita’s going home celebration was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday September 21, 2010 at her home church of Lone Star Baptist Church in Fairland, Oklahoma with Pastors Brian Gibson and Chuck Price officiating. Interment followed at Fairland Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday evening from 6-8 at the church.
Pallbearers who are honored to serve on Anita’s behalf are her nephews: Bryan Bryant, Brad Bryant, Brett Hayes, Dustin Hayes, Barry Clocker, Duane Clocker, and Kevin Clocker.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to her home church of Lone Star Baptist Church.
The family has chosen Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home for their sister’s services.
