Jack Benny Carner, 68, of Grove, Okla. passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 in Grove, Okla.  Jack was born on September 25, 1942 in Odessa, Texas to Jack and Juanita (Reeves) Carner.

Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Jack worked as a mechanic supervisor for airlines and he also worked in the Oil Fields. Jack enjoyed fishing , setting outside in the sun, spending time with his family, his dogs, and going to Ice Hockey games, especially Tulsa Oilers. Jack was a loving brother to his siblings.

Jack is survived by his wife of the home Patricia of Grove, Okla.; two daughters, Claudia Garrett of Owasso, Okla. and Jamie Brown of Muskogee, Okla.; one sister, Carla Walters of Odessa, Texas; and three brothers, Troy Carner of Odessa, Okla., Jimmy Carner of Sand Springs, Okla. and Lonnie Carner of Bartlesville, Okla.; eight grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jack is preceded in death by both of his parents; his first wife, Robin June Carner; one son, Timothy Pogue; and one brother Gary Carner.
