LETTY JO JOHNSON

Letty Jo Johnson, 62, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died November 6, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born May 20, 1946 in Siloam Springs, she was the daughter of Fred Cannon and Polly Roughton Cannon. She lived in Siloam Springs all her life. She worked for the Community Physician’s Group for 33 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma where she began playing the organ when she was 12 years old. She married Frank Johnson on July 9, 1976.

 Letty Jo was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Cannon.

Survivors include her husband Frank of the home; two sons, Jeff Daring of Siloam Springs, and Eric Johnson of Ronkonkoma, New York; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Cannon and wife Nola of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lex Cannon and wife Janie of Monticello, Indiana; and a number of nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services were 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Bethel United Methodist Church, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, with Rev. Darrell Maddox officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery, near Watts, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
