Frank G. Fisher, Jr, 82, of Colcord, Okla., passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at his home.
Frank was born on March 8, 1928 in Collinsville, Okla., son of Frank G. Fisher, Sr., and Jessie Worley Echols Fisher. He married Wanda Dornan on July 27, 1976 in Miami, Okla. Frank was an overhead crane operator for McDonald Douglas, an ordained minister, drove a school bus for Siloam Springs and Mosley Schools and a greeter at Wal-Mart. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Lincoln, Ark.
Frank is survived by wife Wanda Fisher, Colcord, Okla.; three daughters: Thelma Dougherty, Colcord, Okla.; Marilyn Vogel, Claremore, Okla.; Joyce Landtroop, Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; brother Ralph Fisher, Collinsville, Okla.; step son Mark Alderman Broken Arrow, Okla.; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Esther Dennis and Geniva Stoll, three brothers: Delbert, Ross and Bob Fisher.
Services were held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 10, 2010. Rev. Sam Dougherty officiated at the service with burial held at the Wann Cemetery in Oologah, Okla.
Services were under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 8, 2010.
