Mary K. Earls, longtime resident of Fairland, died at home early Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009.  She was 72. 

Mrs. Earls was born Nov. 5, 1937, at Borger, TX, to George and Zenboia (Roberts) Tipton.  She was a graduate of Fairland High School with the Class of 1956. 

She was a homemaker, having married Elzie Earls on Dec. 29, 1956, at Miami.  They moved back to Fairland in 1961, coming from Tulsa.  She was of the Baptist faith. 

She is survived by her husband, Elzie, of the home, two sons, Jason Earls, and Russell and wife, Sandra, Earls, all of Fairland, a daughter and her husband, Diane and Johnny Panter, of Fairland, two brothers and their wives, Gerald and Wanda Tipton and Frank and Patsy Tipton, all of Fairland, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded by her parents and a son, Mitchell Eldon Earls. 

A funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at First Assembly of God Church in Fairland, with Elder Woodrow Wilson officiating.  Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Roblyer, Travis Earls, Dale Chaffin, Quindell Stanley, Chris Webber, and Troy Selsor.  A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, at Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
