Marilyn Artilee

Dossman, resident of Miami, Okla., died Thursday, April the 7, 2011

at her home. She was 71.

 

She was a retired

State Meat Inspector working for the State of Oklahoma. Marilyn was

born November the 28, 1939 in Vinita, Okla., to Carl and Maxine

(Beets) Hughes. She married Carl Dossman on August the 15, 1975 in

Jay, Okla.

 

She was survived by

her husband, Carl, of the home; one son, Wayne Fields, and spouse

Carol, of Miami, Okla.; one daughter, Julie Martins, and spouse

James, of Vinita, Okla.; two brothers, Mike Hughes, of Tulsa,

Okla., Jack Hughes, of Haines City, Fla.; one sister, Carlene

Brasier, of Bunnlevel, N.C.; three grandchildren, Brian Fields,

Haylee Fields, Kristie Martins; two great-grandchildren, Breanna

and Trevor.

 

She was preceded in

death by her parents.

 

Services were at 2

p.m., Monday, April the 11, 2011 at the First Christian Church in

Miami, Okla., with Minister Leon Weece officiating.

 

Serving as

pallbearers were Paul Wallace, Chuck Coins, John Buckallew, Dale

Herd, Tim Keith and Larry Ramsey.

 

The body lied in

state Sunday, April the 10

"5">th, 2011 from 1 to 6 p.m., at the

Funeral Home Chapel in Miami.

 

Burial will be at the

MT. Hope Cemetery in Afton, Okla.

Services are under

the direction of Roland Adcock, Adcock Funeral Home, Miami,

Okla.
