Karen M. Cole, 55, Neosho, died at 10:01 pm, Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at her home, following a sudden illness.  Karen was born May 22, 1952 in Augusta, GA, the daughter of Jessie H. Patrick, Jr. and Helen M. Papi Patrick.  She moved to Neosho with her family at the age of 4 and was a lifelong area resident, currently working as a sales representative at Scholastic. Karen was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church; an avid supporter of the Relay for Life, the Boy Scouts and enjoyed fishing and gardening.  She gave the gift of life to others being an organ donor.  Karen and Mike Cole were married on July 4, 1999 at Neosho and he survives.  Additional survivors include three sons, Byron Wylie and wife, Stephanie, Neosho; Patrick Wylie and Tyler Wylie, Joplin; her mother, Helen Patrick, Neosho; four brothers, Max Patrick, Roswell, GA; Jessie H. Patrick, Jr., Bruner, MO; Dale Patrick, Joplin and Dennis Patrick, Neosho; one sister, Terry Abercrombie, Grove, OK; five grandchildren, Eden Wylie, Jake Wylie, Alex Wylie-Green, Hunter Wylie and Savanna Hope Wylie.  In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Zack Wylie.  The body has been taken for cremation and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.  Following the memorial service, the family will receive friends until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Contributions in memory of Karen may be made to the Susan G.
