Paul Graham passed into eternal rest at 4:40 am on Christmas day, after an extended illness.
Paul was born on November 2, 1929 to Bluford and Dora Lackey Graham. He was a lifetime Jay area resident.
Paul served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in France. He was a heavy equipment operator and later started his own back hoe service as well as a septic tank business in Jay and Commerce, Oklahoma until his retirement in 2004. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman, but enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Lucille Curtis, Noveta Kirby, and Juanita Denney.
He is survived by his wife Sunny Edwards Graham of the home, daughter, Tawni and husband John and granddaughter Abbigail Ann Adams of Seneca Missouri, two brothers J.D. and Teresa Graham and Wayne and wife Marilyn Graham both of Jay, Oklahoma, sisters, Louise McKenzie of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wilma Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Paul is also survived by three young men who he considered his boys, Jim Richie, Kasey Graham and Brian Buchanan, as well as a host of dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Funeral Services of Grand Lake in Jay, OK, on Thursday December 31, 2009 at 2 pm.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Funeral Services of Grand Lake Chapel in Jay, OK.
