1919 - 2009

Leonard L. Hilterbrand, 90 years of Grove, OK departed  life  Oct. 28, 2009 at the Grove General Hospital in Grove, OK.

Leonard entered this life on June 9, 1919 in Kansas, son of James and Maude (King) Hilterbrand.  He owned and operated a large dairy farm in Sand Springs, OK for several years. On July 7, 1989 he was united in marriage to Imogene Rust and together they shared the last 20 years. They resided in Claremore, OK before moving to Grove in 2004. He was an avid collector of western art, a member of the Limestone Baptist Church in Sand Springs, OK and a Veteran of the United States Army.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Imogene Hilterbrand of the home; sister, Kathleen Ebel of Nebraska; five stepchildren; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

His parents; and four siblings preceded him in death.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hilterbrand were  10 a.m. Oct. 31, 2009 at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, MO. with Pastor Lonnie Sanders officiating.
