Lillian Kathryn Watkins, age 77, passed away, August 26, 2009
Lillian was born February 16, 1932 in Crowder, Ok. She was raised in Holdenville, Ok. Growing up as a girl she was involved in every activity and brought her sense of style and flair to any situation.
Lillian was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church for over 25 years and cherished her time in Blended Blessings.
Lillian was the first person to make a hole in one at Oak Tree Country Club. Several years later she had her second hole in one on the same hole #8. She loved playing golf and held numerous positions at several Ladies Golf Associations and was a Ladies Club Champion. She never let her son and sons-in-law forget that she had 2 holes in one.
Lillian’s love of beautiful things and decorating led her to start her own business. She loved helping her clients make their house into a welcoming home. Many of her clients became her closest friends. Her friends were very important to her.
She loved her children and was proud of all their accomplishments. She bragged to everyone she knew about them. To her grandchildren she will always just be “Nanny”, a fun and loving grandmother who they will miss more then words can express.
