MAY 25, 1928 - MARCH 17, 2009

GENTRY,AR - Jack Bentley Still, 80 year-old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died March 17, 2009, at his home. Born May 25, 1928 in Pindall, Arkansas, he was the son of Omar Stanley Still and Ida Mae Thompson. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Jack was a clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the City Council and was a past School Board Member. He also served as a member of the Planning Commission. Jack married Virginia Mae Stewart in Huntsville, Arkansas on December 26, 1952. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ricky Lynn Still; two brothers, William Stanley Still and Wally Lee Still.

 Survivors include his wife Virginia of the home; four sons, Michael Still and wife Sheila, Stephen Still, Randy Still, and Terry Still, all of Gentry, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Southerland of Kimberling City, Missouri.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2009, at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas, with Rev. Dennis Jech officiating.
