Jeanette Presley Shoaff, loving wife and mother, died Jan. 25, 2008 at age 79 in Peoria, Ariz.

She was born in Griffin, Ga. in 1928 to Jesse Fred and Maude Capps Presley. She grew up in South East Georgia and Souther Western Alabama graduating from Cottonwood Alabama High School and Dothan Business College. She followed her family when they moved to Bartow, Fla., where she met Victor Shoaff. They were married for over 53 years. They lived in Sun City, Ariz., for the past 13 years with a summer home in Grand Rapids, Minn.
"Jenny" enjoyed gourmet cooking, arts and crafts including quilting, ceramics, and antiques. She was an interior decorator for many years. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Daughter of the King, Questors, All Saints of the Desert Episcopal Church, Sun City, Ariz., and Christ Episcopal Church of Grand Rapids, Minn. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband Victor; daughter Kay Shoaff-Deckman and son-in-law Jeff Deckman of Van Nuys, Calif.; sister Marion Rainey of Bartow, Fla. and brother Gregory Presley of Lakeland, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.
