NOVEMBER 21, 1938 - DECEMBER 3, 2008

BERNICE - Dale Sisney, resident of Bernice, died at St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, after an illness. He was 70.

Mr. Sisney was born Nov. 21, 1938, at Oakland, AR., to Guy and Myrtle (Fox) Sisney. He was self-employed as a certified tree surgeon. He moved to Bernice in 1994, coming from Kansas City, MO.

He is survived by his wife, Delma Bream, of the home, two sons, Kenneth Mattingly of the home and Billy Dale Clark of Arkansas, five daughters, Delores Jones and Penny Wilson, both of Grove, Pat Wethey of Afton, Kay Tatum of Missouri, and Jeanne Teague and husband, Charles, of Republic, MO, two sisters, Juanita Freeman of Lees Summit, MO, and Gerry Queary of Mt. Home, AR, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, a brother, Freddy Sisney, and two sisters, Joyce Jenkins and Wilma Hougan.

A visitation was 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Adcock Funeral Home in Afton.

A private burial will be at a later date. Arrangements provided by Adcock Funeral Home in Afton.
