DIXIE CORRINN EARP

Dixie Corrinn Earp, 83 year old Eugene, OR, resident, passed away Friday, August 15, 2008, in Eugene, OR, following an extended illness.

Corrinn was born December 23, 1924, in Ward, AR, to Earl and Daisy (Armstrong) Wade. On August 15, 1941 Corrin married Richard Earp. He preceded her in death in 1986. Corrinn was a homemaker most of her life, raising five children. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed cooking. She was famous for her pies. Corrin enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a great friend and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Corrin was preceded in death by her husband and both of her parents.

Surviving family members include three daughters, Connie Ross of Eugene, OR, and Annie Earp of Eugene, OR, and Stacie Aguilera of Eugene, OR, two sons, Smith Earp of Sumpter, SC, and Ralph Earp of Klamath Falls, OR; and eleven grandchildren, Jim Earp of Klamath Falls, OR, Shane Earp of Klamath Falls, OR, Brett Earp of Atlanta, GA, Greg Earp of Biloxi, Mississippi, Michael Ross, of Eugene, OR, Corey Aguilera of Eugene, OR, Amie Aguilera of Eugene, OR, Haley Aguilera of Eugene, OR, Gabriel Aguilera of Eugene, OR, and Taylor Aguilera of Eugene, OR.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2008, at Funeral Services of Grand Lake Chapel in Jay, OK. Bro. Mark Sherrell will officiate. Interment will be in Duffield Cemetery, Jay , OK. Serving the family as casket bearers will be Phillip Barnhart, Mitchell Earp, Jim Heard, Lonnie Martino, Ross Payton, and Danny Price. Serving as honorary casket bearers will be Barney Earp and Gary Earp.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Funeral Services of Grand Lake Chapel in Jay, OK.
