Connie Davine Duncan, 66, of Kansas, Okla. died may 20, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Okla.
Born March 14, 1944 in Kansas, Okla., she was the daughter of Dave Carroll and Agnes McCallister Carol. She lived her entire life in Kansas, Okla. and was a graduate of Kansas High School. She worked for Franklin Electric in Siloam Springs, Ark. for 23 years. She married David Duncan on July 1, 1969 in Missouri. She was a rancher’s wife. Connie was a member of Lowery Free Will Baptist Church, Lowery, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and one grandson, Ethan Mitchell.
Survivors included three sons, Darwin Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and Damon Duncan; two daughters, Georgia Turtle and Dewina Parnell; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Carroll and Daryl Carroll; and one sister, Bertha Jo Pair.
Pallbearers will be Darwin Mitchell, Damon Duncan, Craig Mitchell, Dylan Duncan, David Duncan, and Jonathan Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Daegan Duncan, Joe Turtle, Marc Barrington, Cody Barrington, Devin Duncan, Caleb Barrington, Casey Barrington, Nathan Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell and Derrek Mitchell.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Lowery Free Will Baptist Church, Lowery, Okla., with Lance Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Leach Cemetery, Leach, Okla. Visitation was from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2010 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
