Geneva Florence Miller, resident of Afton, Okla., died Saturday, February the 26, 2011. She was 79.
She was a housewife of her own home. Geneva was born January the 8, 1932 in Afton, Okla. to Abe and Agnes (Hogan) Chandler. She married Frankie Miller on June the 3, 1950.
She was survived by her husband, Frankie, of the home; two sons, Micky Miller and spouse Diane, of Afton, Okla. and Terry Miller, of Afton, Okla.; three daughters, Sharon Whitecrow and spouse Jake, of Miami, Okla., Vickie Myers, of Wyandotte, Okla., and Tina McCleary and spouse Rick, of Miami, Okla.; two brothers, Jerry Chandler, of Afton, Okla. and Gary Chandler, of Miami, Okla.; four sisters, Nora Greenfeather, of Afton, Okla., Jaunita Foster Woolever, of Joplin, Mo., Carolyn Mercer, of Miami, Okla. and Rhonda Hilton, of Peoria, Okla.; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March the 2, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Afton, Okla., with Minister Lee Williams officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick McCleary, Daniel Palmer, Jason Miller, T.J. Miller, Joel Miller and Dustin Myers.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jake Whitecrow, Dan Crager, Matt Redden, Donny Lampen and Shannon Riggs.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March the 1, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Afton. Burial will be at Sixkiller Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Roland Adcock, Adcock Funeral Home, Afton, Okla.
