Mary Lee Steffen, 78, of Eucha, Okla., passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Mary was born in Broken Arrow, Okla. on February 15, 1932 to Cora Bell (Cornett) and John Blane Bowline. Mary attended Broken Arrow public school.

Mary married Orville Dean Steffen on March 23, 1969 in San Diego, California who survives her. Mary worked as a waitress for Frosty and Edna’s until she retired and she took care of many people in her life.

Mary is preceded in death by both her parents, John and Cora Bowline; two daughters, Patricia Steffen and Kathrine Sasso; two grandchildren, Kenny Page and Travis L’Esprance; and also all of her brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her husband Orville; one daughter, Pamela Sasso-Argeanton and husband Michael of Eucha, Okla.; one son, Stephen Page and wife Debi of Rogers, Ark.; two step-daughters, Rhonda Bridges and husband David of San Marcos, Calif. and Cassie L. Steffen, of California; three step-sons, Steve D. Steffen of Idaho, Dean A. Steffen of Lakeside, Calif., and Craig A. Steffen and wife Sarah of Eucha, Okla.

Mary is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held Monday, January 3, 2011 from 2-7 p.m. at the Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel in Langley, Okla. Chapel Services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel in Langley, Okla. with Chaplain Lonnie Sanders officiating.

Interment will follow at the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery in Spavinaw, Okla.
